Nandoni Dam Environmental Control Officer, Water Use License application (WULA), Amendment application and Mining permits
The project entailed the installation of the new OPVC pipe of approximately 49,113 km between Nandoni and Nsami Dam.
Bredell Reservoir (ECO) Environmental Control Officer and Occupational Health and Safety Officer & Agent
C & K appointed as the ECO, Safety Officer and Safety Agent for the construction of A 22ML Bredell Reservoir & Pump Station -Kempton Park. Project duration: 24 months.
P88 Environmental Control Officer (ECO) and Water Use License requirements
C & K appointed as the ECO for the Rehabilitation of the P88 Road from the N12 Highway towards the N1 Highway, approximately thirty (30) kilometers in the Krugersdorp and Vereeniging regions.
Devland, Lakeside, Lenasia & Mankweng Filling Stations: Environmental Control Officer
The Director of C & K has conducted EIA’s for filling stations for over 12 years. With this experience, C&K has been able to monitor the construction activities, and continue to assist with new EIAs & other environmental compliance matters for the client.
Cata Dam bulk water pipeline EIA
An existing water pipeline of approximately 4,05km is located within the Keiskamahoek farming community, and required upgrades. The Environmental Impact Assessment was conducted and an Environmental Authorisation granted to the Department of Water & Sanitation on the 5th of July 2016, valid for a period of 5 years, and lapsing in July 2021.
Zuurbekom Mixed Development Township
Mixed-use residential development within an area of approximately 73.8 hectares: A Full EIA process was conducted including Avifaunal study; Wetland Delineation; Geotechnical investigations; Heritage & Traffic Impact Assessments and Engineering Services Report. An Environmental Authorisation was granted on the 24th of July 2017, valid for a period of 10 years.
K97 EIA & Water Use License Applications
Construction of approximately 2.97km section of the K97 route between Linvelt & Lavender Rd through Wonderboom and Annlin Agricultural Holdings – City of Tshwane. The Environmental Authorisation was granted on 26 of June 2017, valid for a period of 10 years. A General Authorisation Water Use License – S22 (1) (a) (iii) of NWA was granted in August 2018.
Golden Gardens Filling Station EIA
The development site is located in Golden Gardens township – Emfuleni Local Municipality. An EIA was conducted, and supporting information included the EMPR, Vapour recovery plan, Emergency plan, Geotechnical investigations, Storm water management plan and a Traffic Impact Assessment. The Environmental Authorisation was granted on 5 June 2018, valid for a period of 10 years.
